We had a really good turn out for the first week of action.
On Wednesday, we had 43 players with 98 rebuys for the tournament and 2 cash tables running from 6 pm - 1 am.
On Thursday, we ran 2 cash tables $1/$2 No Limit. The action was fierce, the pots were regularly $100 +
On Friday, there were 45 players for the tournament and 4 $1/$2 No Limit tables running until 1:45 AM
On Saturday, 63 players entered the tournament. There were 2 cash tables running before the tournament and following it there were 4.
Is this legal? Has there been any visits from the authority? What's the rake. I'm definitely going to check this out.
I'm sorry I haven't updated this in a while.
We've been extremely busy, having 80+ players in our tournaments and up to 6 cash tables running at one time!
Yes this is totally legal. The Michigan Lottery Commission issues a license to charitable/non-profit organizations.
The rake for cash games is 10% up to $5 for a $1/$2 game. And for tournaments, the charity keeps 25% with 75% going to the prize pool.
I've been there many times now and notice Snoop is a regular. If Snoop plays here, it has to be a good room. I've watched him play the major casino's poker rooms and do quite well. If it's good enough for Snoop, it's good enough for me.
u guys gona do this again in 2009?
it was alot fo fun the few times i been there hope u wil do it again next year
